Edible_paint_title

My little one puts everything in her mouth these days. So paint I don’t have to worry about her eating? Perfect.

What you’ll need:

2 cups of flour**

1/2 cup of sugar

1 teaspoon of salt

1 cup of hot water

1 cup of cold water

Food coloring

Directions: Mix the flour, sugar and salt together before slowly whisking in the cold water. When the mixture is smooth, mix in the hot water. Separate into bowls and add a few drops of food coloring to each.

Let imagination take it from there.*

* Fun tip: If you sprinkle more salt on the painting before it dries, it will sparkle.

** Keep in mind that this is fingerpaint since my little one isn’t into using brushes just yet. If you want a looser paint, just leave out 1/2- 3/4 cup of flour.
